Tags for You
Paper Cutz Challenge is encouraging tags this week. I was pleased with how the ribbon complimented the background, but I wish the ribbon would have laid better. Sometimes you trade beauty for functionality :) This is another "Thinking of You card for my aunt. The punch and stamp are from Stampin' Up.
Flowers Galore
My aunt continues to bravely battle cancer. She said that she looks forward to getting the mail and looks for my cards. After I heard this, I started sending an extra card a week for a total of 3 or more. This is another card that I made for her. The flowers are from the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge. It will be entered in the Cooking with Cricut challenge to use three Cricut flowers and the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge to use metal (brads inside flowers).

Puppy Card and Notepad
Crafty Cardmakers is having a challenge to make a card and matching gift. This pair was created for my co-worker so she can remember her "baby" Copper while at work. The images are from the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge, and the letters are cut from pink heart paper using the Simply Sweet cartridge. I LOVE how this notepad turned out, and I think I need to make one for myself! :)

Watermelon Card
This card was entered into the Skipping Stones Design layout challenge #50 and Fantabulous Cricut challenge #35 to use green and a circle from a Cricut cartridge. The circle is from the New Arrival cartridge, and the watermelon is from the Doodlecharms cartridge. The green ribbon matches closer than the photo shows and pulls out the green from the watermelon, while the dots emphasize the seeds.

Hello Card
I just made this hello card for my aunt that is battling cancer, and I am entering it in Momo's Tuesday Challenge to use embossing. I hand embossed the paper with the carpet texture plate from Fiskars. The letters are from the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge using the shadow feature. I was inspired by the sparkles in the ribbon, so I dressed the card up with glitter glue.
