I Miss You

My puppy sent this card to "Grandma" and "Grandpa" (and they loved it!).  The font and image are from the Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge.  This card will be entered in the My Time to Craft Challenge (Pets) and the Paper Cutz Challenge (Anything Goes).

Sleeping Puppy

Cooking with Cricut posed a challenge to find "Cash in Your Stash".  The star paper and ribbon were from my scrap bin and the star brads were purchased long ago without a purpose.  I was also able to pull out an old Cricut cartridge, Paper Pups.  This was designed to be a thinking of you card.

Sick as a Dog

This Get Well Card was made for a coworker that has been sick all week.  I placed some soup inside to help with her recovery.  The graphic is from the Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge and fits the More Than Favors challenge to make a get well card.  I was inspired CG.

Puppy Card and Notepad

Crafty Cardmakers is having a challenge to make a card and matching gift.  This pair was created for my co-worker so she can remember her "baby" Copper while at work.  The images are from the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge, and the letters are cut from pink heart paper using the Simply Sweet cartridge.  I LOVE how this notepad turned out, and I think I need to make one for myself! :)

Something That Flies...

Paper Cutz is having a challenge to make a get well card with something that flies.  Since I only own a few Cricut cartridges, I had the option of a butterfly, dragonfly, or this flying dog.  The dog gave me an instant chuckle, and I knew my aunt that is battling cancer would also find humor this card.  I used cloud printed paper as the background.  Then I cut out the dog and clouds from the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge.  The clouds were embossed with the Fiskars filagree texture plate and the dog was raised with pop dots to give the illusion that it was flying.  The card was finished with a thinking of you stamp from Stampendous.  The inside reads, "Flying Dogs?  I know it made you smile!  Wishing you a restful day with happy dreams."
